I attended an all-day convention in Boston. Being away from the office all day forced me to conduct business by telephone.

As it turns out, Mobile Manager saved me. I had needed to make multiple calls. My cell phone battery was low. And, the reception indoors was extremely frustrating. Fortunately, I had arranged with the telephone company for my toll-free number to be forwarded to the same line that forwards my calls to Mobile Manager. I directed all my calls to voice-mail.

When it came time for me to retrieve messages and return calls, I went to a public telephone to call my Mobile Manager number. Here are just a few of the things I was able to do using Mobile Manager:

1) The "outside line" feature (just by pressing 9) was priceless. I was able to make multiple outbound calls without hanging up, without putting additional money in the pay phone, and without redialing.

2) My hands were loaded with convention materials. The feature 9* automatic callback to the party that called my Mobile Managerand left a message was something that I took full advantage of. Most times callbacks were simple without having to reach into my bag for paper and pencil to write down phone numbers.

3) By pressing the "6" key, I was able to transfer messages to any of my associates/team members as well as leave them a private message when needed.

4) By setting up a group mail with my team in advance, I was able to leave one message for everyone at the same time.

Mobile Manager's features were invaluable to me that day. I was able to conduct business professionally and efficiently despite unexpected obstacles. I saved time and money, but most importantly I was able to satisfy the needs of my clients and customers from one source — Mobile Manager.

Right after joining OneCall, I got a call on my cell phone from a buyer from Seattle who was in the area for only a few days. He was working with an agent he was not happy with, so he visited REALTOR.com and got my Mobile Manager number. I made an appointment for the next day to show him a listing in Beverly, MA.

As it turns out, I received a listing call that same day, also through Mobile Manager, on the same street I had planned to show my new buyer. During my listing presentation, I asked if I could bring a buyer the next day, and the seller agreed. The buyer loved the house! He went back to Seattle to consider it.

The next day he called and said he wanted to make an offer. He did not have access to a fax, so I drew up an offer sheet, and faxed it to my own Mobile Manager. I was then able to easily forward it by e-mail to the buyer. The deal went through at the asking price of $375,000, and I ended up with both sides of the deal.

Had I not been using Mobile Manager, I would not have been able to speak with him immediately due to his busy schedule. He would have gone to another REALTOR®. And, I loved the ease with which I could get him the offer sheet, simply faxing it to my Mobile Manager and e-mailing it to him.

I was competing for a listing in Topsfield. I was the first agent in and spent three hours with the potential sellers, developing a good relationship. I was highly hopeful that I would leave that day with a signed contract. But, it didn't happen. In fact, they wanted to interview two-to-three more agents before making a decision.

While on a listing appointment, I asked my prospect who else he was talking to besides me. He mentioned an agent I happened to know; I also knew that the agent worked for a small office and that, after hours, the calls are forwarded to an answering machine. I explained to my client that this would mean that his home would effectively be off the market.

I told him I use the Find-Me-Follow-Me feature from Mobile Manager which allows me to forward my number to my home or office or cell, or wherever I am. If someone called me concerning his home, it would certainly be on the market.
